Does the Mascoutah School District receive any funds from my payment?
No. All payments to the Mascoutah Band Boosters go directly to the Boosters account.
Does the Mascoutah Band Boosters receive any funding from the school district?
No. The Boosters are funded solely by the fees paid by parents/guardians, donations, and fundraising.
Why do I pay a band fee at school registration and a registration fee to the Band Boosters?
The band fee paid at the beginning of the school year goes to the attending school. The school uses that fee to help pay for the instructional operation of the class. The registration fee paid to the Boosters supports the cost of operating the marching band.
What does my Band Boosters registration fee pay for?
The registration fee paid to the Band Boosters helps pay for band and color guard uniforms, props, show design, additional instructors, snacks, catering, and more.
